During my year long hiatus, I've received a landslide of emails which I think refer to the same problem, that a lot of the old blogskins I have posted do not work on new blogger accounts.

This is partly my fault because while I use valid HTML to code the skins, I don't follow the tags and stuff that well, so blogger will reject the templates. I don't know whether I will have time to figure out the new blogger widgets thingums, but if you still want to use my old blogger templates and most stuff on blogskins.com, I suggest you go to:

Templates > Edit HTML, then click "Revert to Classic Template" (see picture)

Then my skins *should* work. If they don't and images do not appear, then it's highly likely that the photobucket/imageshack site hosting the skins' images have exceeded their bandwidth (after so many years). The image files for certain skins can be found in the "Free Blogskins" section of this site, so do download them and host them yourself. I plan to make some other skins available here too.
