I have been really swamped with school and various miscellaneous activities...
For this past year, sixseven.org wasn't the only website I was running. I had to run my school's Singapore Malaysian Student Association website because no one else would -_-". Unfortunately, my job scope doesn't stop at the website, I had to work on miscellaneous events held by the organization.
Anyway, I have a month's break (by break, I just mean I don't have any midterms) til finals... Somehow in that month I ended up with another client (friend's professor's friend or something like that). I hope I still have the skills to pull it off mmm I'm definitely not as fast as I used to be when it comes to helping people visualize how they want their websites to look.
I'm not renabling comments for this website because it just collects spam, and I rarely reply. My email link is still functioning, and I apologize if I miss your questions... I would suggest emailing again. (Hint: make your messages really really clear on what is wrong with your website, provide screenshots, etc and I'm more likely to answer)
Also, I added more items to my gallery! Check the photography section, I got a new camera (not a pro camera, just a new regular digital but I like it)
So I designed this over the summer on my notebook, started working on it proper in September, now it's October and I finally finished coding this.
Of course there are still kinks to be fixed (for example, I accidentally deleted the comments section and I was too lazy to make rollover image links for the navbar), but at least I got a new layout up, after um, almost 2 years =/
Amazingly, my site still gets traffic, and I have been commissioned a few times to make a skin for someone but I only took one client over the summer.
School's in full swing now and I'm obviously procrastinating. But I don't feel like doing my homework...
I'm trying to revamp this place again.
Meanwhile please look at my new gallery! I used a free flash script online called Simple Viewer (since the flash gallery I tried to make 3 years ago didn't work) and even then it took me a looong time to configure it. The digital art section is still under the works though cause I might chop up the taller pieces to fit the screen better.
I'm trying out Cutenews again since it wasn't the program that caused the Google block issues. I'm also trying out it's comments page, hopefully it won't be attacked by spam bots. The moment it does I'll switch back to haloscan.
Hopefully by next week I'll be able to finish:
1) A new layout (I'm lacking in the inspiration department though)
2) A help tip explaining my problem with Google Safe Diagnostics and how I solved it with the help of someone from Badwarebusters.org -- and apparently a lot of people still have this problem and don't know how to fix it so I hope it'll help!
3) Do something about the elongated images in my gallery not fitting the screen right (yea it works but it isn't pretty to me)
I think those 3 will keep me going for the week. I just finished 2 midterms and I've got a 4 page paper to write and a lab report T_T
